Volunteer with our groupThank you for your interest in wanting to volunteer with OMC! (Only Maine Coons Rescue). We are always in need of help. We have a great need for Adoption Coordinators, Fosters, and Transport Drivers. For most positions It does not matter where you are located, you can volunteer with us! Adoption CoordinatorAn Adoption Coordinator would help any interested adopters in choosing a cat. You would also be responsible for processing their application. Processing an application would include some phone calls and emails with the adopter. We will provide full training and support during your training period and long after your first application. APPLY HEREFoster ParentA Foster Parent would provide a safe and loving home for our Maine "Coonies". You would be responsible for feeding, playing, changing litter and snuggling with your foster. You would also be responsible for taking the cat to your vet (at OMC! expense). We will provide you with training and lots of support. We are currently establishing a foster reimbursement program that will allow for food and litter for your foster. APPLY HEREAt this time we are only accepting fosters in the following areas, NJ, PA, NY, MD, VA, DE Transport CoordinatorA Transporter Coordinator would provide safe and reliable transport for our Maine "Coonies". We are looking for drivers to pick up cats from shelters and drive them to their new foster homes. Or maybe help with getting one of our fosters their vet appointment. We might also need drivers to deliver a cat to their new adopter's home. All transports will be under two hours. APPLY HEREHome VisitorWe are always looking for people to do "Home Visits" for our rescue. A home visit consists of visiting the home of a potential adopter and checking for specific items listed on our check list. You will be provided the list, once you are an active volunteer. APPLY HERE
