Beautiful Maine Coon mix, Checkers, recently joined a colony of outdoor cats near her caregiver’s home. Her caregiver noticed her right away and has been making sure she is being cared for while trying to find her a warm and safe home before the worst of winter’s cold sets in.

Checkers is estimated to be about 4 years old, has a gorgeous, super fluffy, tabby-patterned coat, and incredibly long whiskers! Checkers is very friendly, leading her caregiver to believe that she has had a home in the past, and perhaps has been lost or discarded.

Checkers has been spayed and is up-to-date on her vaccines. Checkers gets along just fine with the other cats in the colony. It is unknown if she would be comfortable with dogs.
