Say hello to Nala, a beautiful tabby-patterned Maine Coon mix who came to us from an animal shelter in New Jersey, along with a second mama cat and their 11 kittens. Just a little over a year old, Nala was just a baby herself when she had her babies (who are five months old now). She’s been a wonderful mom to them, but now she deserves a home of her own where she can get back to being footloose and fancy-free! Nala is a very calm, sweet, and friendly girl -- she LOVES attention and has the cutest habit of rearing back on her hind legs when she wants you to pet her! -- but she also knows how to have fun. Her foster mom has caught her wrestling with her kittens!
Besides being great with other cats, Nala does well with dogs, just as long as her introductions to them aren’t rushed. (Her foster parents have dog-tested her with their dogs.) She hasn't had any exposure to children, but she would probably do well with them, too.
Nala is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations, and she has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She also uses the litter box like a good girl.
