Martini arrived into foster care with some medical concerns. He was hit by a car and suffered a broken pelvis, and a fractured femur. He was put on cage rest for 5 weeks. He has now fully recovered and has free roam in his foster room. He is enjoying exploring and playing, just like an older kitten should. He likes his cat friends, so another young cat that he can pay with would be good for him. Martini did test positive for the herpes virus and will have a runny eye from time to time. a few doses of eye meds, and he is good to go. He is a very sweet cat who likes attention and to be petted. Martini can be difficult to medicate at times and can fuss when it comes to grooming him. He is also difficult having blood drawn and can be unpredictable during a vet exam. We think it is because of the broken pelvis/femur he had and is relating being touched to the pain he had early on before treatment. We are hoping with time, he will overcome this obstacle.
