Meet Milady! Located in NYC, Milady is a stunning 10-year-old feline looking for a patient and understanding family to call her own. She is a timid yet curious kitty with a strong independent streak, making her a perfect match for someone who appreciates a quieter companion. Milady needs extra time to adjust to new environments, but her quirks are worth the wait. While she isn’t a lap cat, she may enjoy the occasional gentle pet once she feels secure. She has a playful side, too—watch her delight in paddling her big paws in her water bowl or energetically chasing a laser pointer. Because sudden movements can startle her, Milady tends to retreat to a cozy hiding spot—whether it’s under the couch, on a shelf, or snuggled inside a box. She can tolerate other cats but prefers her personal space and may give a friendly swipe to remind them of her boundaries. For now, we recommend that she be the only cat in the home. Milady is a Pure-Bred Maine Coon and would do best in a nice quiet home that does not have small children or a lot of activity. She will require daily thyroid meds. She takes them like a champ in her food.
