Ziti is a gorgeous 13 pound, brown classic torbie and white purebred Maine Coon with papers. Ziti is a friendly affectionate cat with a lot of personality. She is a total lap cat. Ziti is very playful and needs someone who can give her a lot of interactive playtime. She loves to jump and will often jump up on the tables or counters or anywhere up high. She is very people oriented and cuddly once she gets to know her human. Like many cats she wants affection only on her terms. She enjoys belly rubs, petting and brushing, but she especially loves neck and chin scritchies. She will cuddle in your arms or on your right side and fall asleep. She is great with people. Her favorite toy is the purrfect leather bouncer cat toy and she really loves catnip.

Ziti will most likely hide in her new home until she feels comfortable coming out. She has the ability to squeeze through the smallest spaces to hide from you. Ziti will need a very special person to help her overcome some of her issues. She needs someone who will give her a lot of attention and can be home with her most of the day. Ziti will need to be brushed and groomed regularly. She often gets mats on her belly and hips that need to be clipped. Her current family got her from a very bad situation. She was food deprived and the litter box was not cleaned for months. Ziti has some anxiety issues due to her past. Ziti is also very food aggressive (but not towards people) and has some obsessive behavior. She is on amitriptyline 10mg to help her with some of these issues.

Ziti may have some emotional issues from her past. She will eat anything, and small items should be

kept out of her reach. She can also be obsessive with licking, scratching and trying to get into

something. Ziti needs to be the only pet in the house. She cannot be in a house with other cats, dogs or children. She sees other cats as threats and has been known to attack other cats.

Her current family is a multi-cat house. They are looking to rehome her so she can be the only cat and so that someone can give her all the care and attention she needs.

Ziti is spayed and is not declawed. She is up to date on all vaccines, tested negative to FelV/FIV.
