Catrick is a very handsome young man. We do not know his back story but he somehow ended up in a shelter. When he first arrived in foster care he was grumpy and trying to figure out what was happening to him. He would want to be petted and at the same time he would complain, grumble meow, and sometimes swat, but still wanted to be near us. He went from a crate, to a bathroom to a closed room to having open access to the house. He has seemed to settle down some with more freedom. He will allow short term pets and as he is getting them he will grumble and complain, but still likes the pets. There is still more work to be done with this guy, and we will continue to work with him while his forever home is being found. He will need someone not afraid of the challenge. An experienced cat human or 2 is best for him. A quiet home without a lot of activity would help him adjust. Catrick does seem to like other cats. There are dogs in his foster home but he has not interacted with them yet. Catrick really lets his guard down with laser lights, so we have been using that activity a lot with him.
